Which version of FFDShow? Many versions are very buggy.

What video card do you have with what driver version?

Re: Windows Movie Maker Won't Play

Thank you.

FFDShow is version 1.0.3.1023.

My video card is an ATI Radeon 9550. With a SAMSUNG Monitor and S-Video to
a television. It has an ATI Driver dated 9/28/2007 version 8.421.0.0

Is there a way to re-install the software and start from scratch?

Thanks

Re: Windows Movie Maker Won't Play

That should be a random version of FFDShow. I don't recommend those. If
you're going to put random beta codecs on your system (bad plan), try one of
the ones marked "stable":
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...roup_id=173941
That should likely work better. =)

RE: Windows Movie Maker Won't Play

After much frustration, I copied my movie and pasted it into a new project
and it worked fine. I hope that continues. It's a pain, but worth it if it
means you can get your work done!
