| Vista Ultimate | WMP11 will not load in Vista/Media center missing component This is a fix for Vista users when their wmp11 magically stops working and or media center fails to load due to so-called missing components. You MUST use an elevated command prompt for this to work. go to start type in "cmd" then hit ctrl-shift-enter. This elevates the command prompt to administrative uses. in the command box regsvr32 jscript.dll hit enter regsvr32 vbscript.dll hit enter regsvr32 wmp.dll hit enter restart wmp and enjoy! Jer |
