Vista - Nero Ultimate 7 and sp1

After installing Vista sp1, my Nero program freezes, even when I run it as
administrator. Has anyone else had this problem? Nick

Which version of Nero 7? Those below 7.5 aren't compatible.

I haven't noticed any freezes in version 8, but then I don't have all of the
programs installed. Which of the many programs freeze up?

I have installed the latest version 7 on Home Prem.. and I just installed
version 8 on my Vista Ultimate both worked ok..

What you might be seeing, in case your system is new... go into the settings
and disable auto indexing.

Vista wants to constantly snoop and you need to stop that activity..

If you run into a short hang like scenario, just wait couple secs and let
Vista catch it's byte breath..

I have nero ultra 7 installed on vista ultimate and I get the best picture
ever and no hang ups in the program at all...except no sound when i burn a
DVD. I dont think the problem is with nero because if I direct it to write
the dvd file to the hard drive I have sound on the file. It is only when I
burn to a disc that there is no sound. I have been in the sound card property
settings and tried enabling different devices when I burn but have had no
luck with that either. So far I have tried the stereo mix, cd player, and
microphone devices. i can only enable 1 at a time, unlike XP where you can
enable all or however many you like. Please help if you can.
