Surely there's a patch or > SOMETHING! If you are exporting the .mswmm project file... the answer is...no the XP version of Movie Maker cannot play it. However if you publish your Vista Movie Maker project in a movie format (.wmv or .avi)...you should be able to play it on most any computer with Windows Media Player and/or Movie Maker. | | Re: Playing Vista Movie in XP Yes, but you have to PUBLISH it first (create a .wmv). You can't use the ..MSWMM file, it's not the published movie. It's only the recipe for creating it. -- Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "pohnee00" <pohnee00@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:19C953DD-372C-4DBC-971B-4EA872859A27@xxxxxx Quote: > Is there a way to play a movie maker movie created in Vista on an XP > machine? > It says it isn't supported.
