Windows Movie Maker Abends Before Completing

    Windows Movie Maker Abends Before Completing

    When I try and import a file into Windows Movie Maker (I tried .wmv,
    ..mpg-same result) I get a message that the movie maker has stopped
    responding. How/Should I re-install or fix?

    Have you tried setting WMM as the default program for wmv and mpg?

    It should work despite it not being the default program.

    I suspect corrupted video files but I don;t know where you got them from...

    are the crash details for that specific crash?
