Windows DVD Maker

I've tried to use Windows DVD Maker to burn a DVD of a video from my Canon
digital camera & show it on the TV but it will not play.
The DVD player is a Panasonic which supports DVD-RAM and DVD-R & RW. I am
using a DVD-RW disk.
I have set the Options to PAL as I am in the UK but while it plays on the
computer it will not play on the TV.
Can anyone suggest where I might be going wrong please.

Re: Windows DVD Maker

Most problems with Windows Movie Maker and Windows DVD Maker are caused by
incompatible file types or the codecs used to create the source files. Have
a look at this URL:

The information is mostly applicable to Vista as to XP.

Re: Windows DVD Maker

Thank you but it seems the problem is with the DVD player. I tried it on
another player and it worked!
