| Member | Can't get pictures into Win Photo Gallery I have all data including Photoshop's pictures on Drive "F", not "C", and when I try copying jpg's from Photoshop into Windows Photo Gallery I get nothing. Wrong procedure I guess. Can someone show me how to copy them to the Photo Gallery? |

| Member | Re: Can't get pictures into Win Photo Gallery Thanks for the reply. But the pictures stored in F are not in "Pictures". From reading Photo Gallery notes I see that all pictures stored under "Pictures" are visible in Photo Gallery. The problem is they(in F) are not showing up in "Pictures" at the start up screen. I can find them in Photoshop, but not under "Pictures". You don't copy photos to WPG, you just tell WPG where to look. | Member | Re: Can't get pictures into Win Photo Gallery Okay, here's what I found. I go to Pictures, scroll to Computer, click on F, and it opens in Pictures. Then I went to Windows Photo Gallery and copied and pasted. vwayne wrote: Quote: > Thanks for the reply. But the pictures stored in F are not in > "Pictures". | Guest | Re: Can't get pictures into Win Photo Gallery Are you talking about the "Pictures" that shows up in the Start menu? That's a shortcut to the Pictures folder under your user folder (C:\Users\(youraccount)\Pictures). If you have photos located on an F: drive, just open WPG, click on "File" - "Add folder to gallery", and browse to the folder on the F: drive. You don't need to copy and paste anything. Or, is F: a removable card? If so, you probably want to import the photos from F: to C: instead of adding it to the gallery. -- Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "vwayne" <vwayne.384oi3@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:vwayne.384oi3@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net... | Member | Re: Can't get pictures into Win Photo Gallery My Vista machine is backing up files right now, so I can't get to it, but I tried what you're suggesting. | Member | Re: Can't get pictures into Win Photo Gallery Thanks, Bob, so much for your concern, suggestion. I'm new to Vista 64, but not new to computers. Just finished building this one. Am quite sure I can figure out my problems. Thought I'd save time by going to a forum. You don't seem to be able to clearly communicate your problem. I suggest you take a beginners computer class at your local community college. "vwayne" <vwayne.384rz6@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:vwayne.384rz6@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net... | Guest | Re: Can't get pictures into Win Photo Gallery Yeah right, you are so knowledgeable you think you cannot "get to" your machine while a backup is taking place. I stand by my suggestion.
