Vista - burning cds

i used to burn cds from my windows media player all the time and they worked
fine in my car and cd players but now when i try it says writing to disc but
no green bar comes across like it used to when it is writing it says
compltete and moves on to the next song but when its complete it won't play
in my car or my cd player anymore please help!

I am having the exact same problem as Lindsey, any ideas why this is happening?
