Vista - WMP pauses while playing content

When I use WMP to play a video file it pauses. Sometimes If I make the video
smaller it will play all the way through without pausing. Everything worked
fine with Windows XP. I have no idea what's going on. Has anyone ever had
this happen or know anything about it? I think that maybe my computer isn't
fast enough for it. I have vista home basic. I met all the requirements for
installation. My basescore is 1.0 though.

Why is your base score 1.0? I would assume you're having video card driver
issues based upon those details...
