Windows Movie Maker says it needs a codec and wiil not load the MOV.

=============================
Movie Maker is not compatible with
QuickTime .mov files.

Try using the following apps to convert
QuickTime .mov files to a format that
can be used in Movie Maker.

QuickTime 7 Pro
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/pro/
(this would be the retail version
not the free one)

SUPER © Simplified
Universal Player Encoder & Renderer
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/SUPER_1
(the mirror download site is faster)

Convert .mov using TMPGEnc
and the TMPGEnc Mov Plugin

Free online converter:
MediaConvert

Windows Movie Maker is not compatible with
QuickTime .mov files. Before importing .mov
files into Windows Movie Maker...they must be
converted into a compatible format....wmv or .avi.

File type compatibility with Movie Maker

Which file type should I use in Movie Maker?
