If you would like to clear Windows
Vista Photo Gallery...try the following...
============================
The following steps should clear the
Photo Gallery...then you can add any
folder you choose.
Open Photo Gallery and go to...
File / Add Folder to Gallery
In the Folder field...Type C:\
The drop window will open...
In the drop window...choose...
C:\Users / OK / OK
In the left pane of Photo Gallery under
"Folders"...right click..."Users"
From the menu...choose...
"Remove From The Gallery" / Yes.
That should do it.....
Now you can go to...File / Include a folder
in the gallery...and choose any folder you
prefer.
===
If the result is not what you hoped for...
Right click your Start button and choose...Explore...
Navigate to the following folder:
C:\Users\>UserName<\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Photo Gallery
Delete everything in the folder...
Specifically...Pictures.pd4 and NavTree.State
The next time you open the Photo Gallery
it will be as it was the first time you opened it.
Good luck...
