| | Windows DVD Maker considers dvr-ms files as invalid I have a Vista Media Center 32-bit, 2-CableCARD media center system. When I attemped to burn a DVD from a Media Center Files (regular TV. Not HD, not protected) I get the following message. I get this message for any one of many recorded TV programs. -------------------- Windows DVD Maker Add Items 0 files were successfully added. 1 fiel could not be added. The file <xxx> is not valid or is corrupted. Where <xxx> is the actual name of the VMC file of type dvr-ms. ------------------------------------------ This file type shows in the selection for DVD Maker. This message pops up within five seconds of choosing the file. It doesn't start doing anything. I get a similar problem using Windows Movie Maker. I am using the standard MS Codexs and a Lite-On 2x Blu-ray Burner LH-2B1S SATA |
