Windows Movie Maker problem

Can someone tell me why when I make a movie in Windows Movie Maker on my
Vista laptop it can not be played on XP? This is very frustrating because
when I save the movie I only get one option. Thanks

As you have discovered...the .mswmm
project file will not work on Windows XP.
Actually...all it is good for is re-editing
purposes in Movie Maker 6.

You need to Publish your project in the
..wmv or .avi movie format...then you can
play it with Windows Media Player.

The following article may be useful:

Windows Vista -
Publish a movie in
Windows Movie Maker
