| | Media Player change song titles (names) to mix files ? Hi, I am struggeling with the new Media Player. I did add an audio folder to my Media Player (Vista) then Media Player changed all my file names (the title of every song) to: "Mix file" and I cannot see the songs names. I do not have time to sit and edit every song and rename it again to its original titles. What is wrong ?? This "new" Media Player is so complicated and it is frustrating because I have to sit and take time (that I do not have) and try to figure it out. I do think the new Media Player is very user unfriendly. Can I download and use the older Windows Media player on my Windows Vista ? The new Media Player is very confusing and I am lost. Thanks for you help ! Maureen. |

| | Re: Media Player change song titles (names) to mix files ? That sounds like you have "Rename files" checked under WMP's Tools:Options:Library options... No, the older Windows Media Players cannot be installed to Windows Vista and do not have necessary fixes that would be needed to work with Windows Vista properly. -- Speaking for myself only.
