| Vista Home Premium x64 | Access Is Denied for Video folder I changed my Music and Photos locations by right clicking the names in the start menu and changing their locations. Easy! However, the Videos folder does not have a start menu link. So, I changed it's location and created a new folder for it n my E partition. It works great and the link from within the Users folder works. Now though I have another Videos folder next to the junction point named Videos. This folder has the regular yellow looking folder icon and I cannot access it. When clicking it it pops up a message saying "Location is not available" and C:\Users\Justin\Videos is not accessible". "Access is denied". What can I do? It's not a huge problem since my new Videos folder still works but I just don't like having a folder round that does nothing. Is this folder a junction point? if so, I guess it's trying to link to the Videos folder on the C drive which doesn't exist because I recreated it on the E partition. Is this correct? | Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Access Is Denied for Video folder OK, I figured it out! I had to turn off UAC. It asked me to restart and when I did the Videos folder was gone. |
