Vista - video clips recorded but then not recognised

Hi new to posting and vista. Recorded flv files onto disc. Played just
fine until i took out disc then disc not even recognised. Files play
just fine on XP laptop but not the vista one i recorded them on. Any
ideas. Thanks.

Just to be clear, are you saying that when you "explore" the disk there is nothing shown on the CD/DVD with Vista, or do you mean that Vista doesn't run the flv file from the disk ? If the later then you probably need a codec to play "flash video" on WMP. Have a look at the following, hope it helps.

This machine is driving me barmy... before i couldn't explore the disc
because it wouldn't show up as anything being in the drive and after
five days of trying, hey presto - just as i've posted there's a problem
- suddenly there it is. I don't know why, i hadn't done anything
different to what i did before but thank you so much for your time.
