Hello,
When I'm importing pictures from my digital camera, I would like to choose
from thumbnails which pictures specifically to import, like I used to in
Windows XP. How do I do it in Vista?
Thank you,
Tom

Windows Photo Gallery, by default, keeps track of which pictures were
previously imported, and only imports the newer ones. There's no way to
select just the ones you want.
But the newer Windows Live Photo Gallery works better, as it allows you to
select which photos to import. It also has a few more features than WPG.

Also, you can manually use Windows Explorer to copy the photos from the
camera/card to your computer. You don't -have- to import them with WPG.

Hi Tom,
To view your pics inside your digital camera in thumbnail view do this:
1.Connect your digital camera to the computer via USB port.
2.Start menu > Computer.
3.Using Windows Explorer, open the folder in your camera that has the pics.
Use View option on Windows tool bar to view the pics in camera as thumbnails
(small to large icons).
Copy or cut and paste desired photos in camera to the folder of your choice.
Ciao...
