Vista - AutoPlay is gone

Hi guys, I'm new here so I would like to say Hi to all you first.
I'm using Vista 32-bit and run as Admins.

Ok, here is the problem. As the title said, my AutoPlay is gone. As you
know, normally when we insert CD, USB, and DVD in the AutoPlay dialog
will appear so that we can choose whatever we want to do, such as: Play,
Open folders to view files and something like that.

But right now I don't have the AutoPlay dialog anymore. It's
disappeared for quit awhile now. I would like to have it back. Plz
help!!!

And not only that, whenever I try to play DVD I can't even open (D)
drive. When I double clicks on the D drive after I inserted the DVD
there is a pop up window says:

"*Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may
not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.*"

This is really bother me. I can't play DVD on my computer anymore.
Any solutions are appriciated.
