Has anyone found a way to playback music videos in Vista Media Centre
from a playlist in a similar way to playing from the music library?
Is it possible to add Windows Media Player as an application to Media
Centre?

I’m using Vista Ultimate 64

as far as i know, MCE has a built-in WMP,why do you want to add one?
