| | Video in Media Center won't play! Admittedly, I am no tech guru. Hopefully one of you great people can help me! I am trying to upload videos to my computer directly from my camera (Samsung Memory Camcorder). The videos do upload but when I try to view them, I get a message that says "Cannot view video". That's it... no other instructions. I also have Media Show on my computer and can view the videos in there, however cannot upload videos to the web (or Adobe Elements) from there... need to do it from the file which doesn't work. I spent an hour on the phone with HP but got nowhere. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

| | Re: Video in Media Center won't play! You can either use Quick Time to view your movie or convert it into something that Windows Media Center understands... like WMV. You will need to use a third party software to convert. I'd personally use Xilisoft which is a great converter, but it's not free. www.xilisoft.com. Super is free (google for Super video converter) but I don't find it so user friendly or as quick as Xilisoft. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/windows "Alysa" <Alysa@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:C01D7AC4-802B-4A10-9767-FA36ACAC5CDB@xxxxxx Quote: > mp4 > > "Cari (MS-MVP)" wrote: > Quote: >> What is the file format that your camera records in? >> -- >> Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging >> www.coribright.com/windows >> >> "Alysa" <Alysa@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> news:3DBEAB05-9869-494B-9B7D-B9A50B407686@xxxxxx Quote: >> > Admittedly, I am no tech guru.
