Funny thing is once it restarts it works fine without any issues. I have uninstalled all codecs and Roxio to make sure none of them were causing a problem. However it still hangs and needs to be closed and restarted every time on the first run. Anyone have any ideas for a fix?
Hi... I don't wish to alarm you but you might want to Google "csrss.exe" as that application seems to be the cause of your problem.
There is discussion about it being a virus/trojan if it's in a certain location...but in many cases it's a legit MS file.
It's very likely you just corrupted the file in some way...possibly by removing all the codecs...please don;t rush out and install one of those K-Light codecpacks as that will cause more problems.
MS comes with standard codecs for a wide variety of video/sound formats. So you shouold always have some codecs in there on your system
