| x64 vista Home with8400; 8g G.skill; GA E7AUM with 889a audio and 9400 Nvidia chipsets | Vista 64 Media Center not displaying video files This was a stupid problem, but I figured it out, despite the lack of documentation on the entire internet. Well at least in the first 20 results in google no matter what I tried! I had lots of media files buried in a custom named shared folder like this: 'c:\Media\Movies' & 'c:\Media\Music' I shared "C:\ (and subfolders)" In Media Center. My music would appear in the music library, but none of the videos were appearing and the folder was not even appearing. SOLUTION: I STOPPED file sharing through media center, I added only "C:\Media" and It works perfectly! -Andy |
