Burning+Making DVDs

I'm new to burning dvd's and making dvd's. I have a few anime series on my harddrive and I want to clear space, so I want to burn them onto a dvd and make playable dvd's from them, with all the episodes in there like chapters. Can Media Center do this?

So basically I need:

- The best software you know of that can both burn and make playable dvds
- Some tips if you can, if there's anything I need to know

Thanks in advance!

Free:
DVD Flick
http://www.dvdflick.net/

If you have problems downloading DVD Flick...
try the following direct link:
http://tinyurl.com/bvtfza
or...
http://voxel.dl.sourceforge.net/sour...up_1.3.0.6.exe

Save the file to a folder on your hard drive and
install from there.

Not Free:
CyberLink PowerDirector 7
http://www.cyberlink.com/products/po...iew_en_US.html

DVD Flick info:

Be sure to read the Guide:
http://www.dvdflick.net/guide.php

DVD Flick Tutorial

Burn Any PC Video Format into DVD
http://www.freevideoworkshop.com/dvdflicktutorial.htm

To create a basic Video DVD that should play in a free
standing DVD player...try the following...

Good luck.

First...read the DVD Flick Guide to familiarize yourself
with the program.

Open DVD Flick and insert a blank DVD in your burner.

If your computer's Autoplay window opens....just close it.

Click the Project Settings button and go to...Video /
Target format...residents of USA...choose...NTSC /
Accept.

Left click the Add title button and browse to your
Movie Clips and select the ones you want on the DVD.

You can arrange them by selecting one and then use
the Move Up and Move Down buttons.

Left click the Create DVD button / OK / Yes / Yes.

Wait while the DVD is created.

When the text "Finished Successfully" appears you
may close DVD Flick. Now you can eject your DVD
and play it in your DVD player.

At some point you may wish to purchase more
advanced software like Cyberlink, Nero, Roxio,
Ulead, etc...but at least this is a start.

Re: Burning+Making DVDs

John....I downloaded DVD Flick ( marked "free" above)..but when I went to
burn a DVD it said that it would have a watermark in the middle of the
burned images. Did I do something wrong, or is it not really "free" for
normal use? thanks RG

DVD Flick is free...where do you get
such incorrect info?

Have a look at what Major Geeks has to say about it:
http://majorgeeks.com/DVD_Flick_d5530.html

Here's what PCWorld has to say:
