In between the video, There is a section I want to remove. Will someone please show me how ? Thank you. Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP1. t-4-2 |

| | Re: Windows Movie Maker Now I am confused. Please read what I had copy/pasted from Help of Windows Movie Maker : " Conversely, you might have a file that was divided into smaller clips that you want to combine. However, you can only combine contiguous clips. "Contiguous" means that the start time of the second clip immediately follows the end time of the first clip. For example, if you have a video or audio file that was divided into clips when it was imported into Windows Movie Maker, and the clips are named Clip 1, Clip 2, and Clip 3, in that order, you could combine Clip 1 and Clip 2, or Clip 2 and Clip 3, but you cannot combine Clip 1 and Clip 3. | | Re: Windows Movie Maker Zachd and PapaJohn, I have found what I needed. It's in the Help section. Trim option is the one I need, not Split. The procedure is a little tedious. The part that threw me off is the meaning of the word " trim ". One usually " trims " away what one does not want. But in this case, it's the opposite. The steps are as following : 1. Trim the clips that one wants, one at a time. 2. Publish them, one at a time. 3. If the video is to be trimmed into 4 clips, then there will be 4 trimmings and 4 publishings. 4. Import them back to WMM, put the clips back into the timeline, then publish for final product. t-4-2 "t-4-2" <dhuang1@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:uwdvYUOuJHA.5172@xxxxxx Quote: > Now I am confused. > Please read what I had copy/pasted from Help of Windows Movie Maker : > > " Conversely, you might have a file that was divided into smaller clips > that you want to combine. EX, If the video is to be divided into 4 parts, A, B, C and D. I want only B and D. Question : How do I split them ? I can let the A section run to it's end before B section, click Split, right click on A, click Remove. That removes A section from timeline, but I can't figure out how to get rid of C section.
