Why is Papa John stuck on MM2?

As a Vista user, it's a disappointment to me that there isn't a forum, like Papa John's, that addresses the use of MM6. (If there is, please point me to it.) I much prefer the V6 version, and I wonder why Papa John -- or someone -- hasn't moved on. I see posts on his site that refer to downloading and using MM2 on Vista. Why?

In a previous post, I noted that I had been able to edit my Flip Mino-HD (mp4) files in MM6 -- something which MM2 users have never been able to do. We're talking about the fastest-selling HD camcorder in the world. A $200 camcorder shouldn't require a $100 or more editor. I would like to be able to ask someone with Papa John's experience why I can do this and others can't, and other things that relate to MM6.

================================
The reference to Movie Maker on Vista is
version 2.6 which was created for Vista users
whose system can not handle version 6. This
is not the 2.1 version from Win XP.

Have a look at the following link for some
articles on Vista Movie Maker:

Re: Why is Papa John stuck on MM2?

Hi eisenworks....

First off, I don't have a forum. I participate in many newsgroups, forums
and other online places like facebook.... and I maintain my website.

Of the thousands of daily visitors to my website, 70% of them are using XP
and 28% Vista.... I have a whole section about Vista, and many of pages
cover both XP and Vista, as Vista's MM6 isn't all that different from
MM2.... my focus is on Windows Movie Maker in whatever flavor it comes in.
