Pictures in Windows Photo Gallery washed out in magenta

I just changed over from a CRT monitor to a LCD flatscreen monitor (Philips
190VW9FB/27), and I've found that while I can view image files okay in other
applications such as Quicktime Viewer, Photoshop, or when viewing thumbnails
in Windows Explorer, but when I double-click them to open them in Windows
Photo Gallery, the picture shows up as completely washed out in magenta, with
occasionally the darkest shadows barely visible. I've made sure that I'm
using the latest drivers for the monitor and my video card.

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium, SP1
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 9500 GT
    Monitor: Philips 190VW9FB/27

I tried the fixes on those pages, with no result. It isn't a problem with
yellow, it's magenta, and it's not just a case of the pictures being tinted
magenta, they are solid magenta with no features of the picture discernable
at all, except occasionally for the darkest of shadows. I can't make out what
the pictures are at all in Windows Photo Gallery.

Sorry...it usually works regardless of the
    incorrect color.

Maybe you have a issue with your video driver.

I have the most recent drivers for both my video card, and my monitor. That
was the first thing I checked. Both are fully up-to-date. I am also up to
date with all Windows Vista Updates.

OS: Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 1
    Monitor: Philips 190VW9FB/27
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 9500 GT
