RE: WMP 11 slow to add files?

I am running windows media 11 in XP and I have about 11,000 songs on an
external hard drive and it has been adding files to media player library for
over 12 hours and its only up to the letter 'P' not even 2/3 done. I hope
this is not going to be happenning in the final release..

Re: WMP 11 slow to add files?

You should be able to close the dialog and continue to browse and listen to
what has been added to the library so far.

Re: WMP 11 slow to add files?

Can Someone tell me how to add files to my WMP 11 library, when I assign a
folder to watch for media files it does nothing. When I go back to check if
the folder is still there the space to enter the folder is empty. I just
want to know how to add files to my library. Thanks
