Vista - Popping sound with DVD playback

Windows Vista Ultimate RC1
AMD Athalon XP 3000+
512 MB RAM
NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800 GT (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)

Clean install of RC1

I put that information up incase it helps with the problem.

Playing audio cd's works fine, no exclimation points anywhere in the device
manager, but when trying to watch a DVD, either in media player or in WMC we
can see the video but only hear a "Popping" noise over the speakers, no other
sound.

Anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

This issue has been fixed in Vista RC2.
