| | Transfer of video from a memory card to my computer. I have a Panasonic HD video camera w/ a memory card. I have Windows Vista. I have downloaded the required Panasonic software - HD Writer - to my computer. I have inserted the memory card and run the software. I can see, edit , etc the video in the software. I have saved to my computer hard drive. But, when I try to view or import from my hard drive using Window Media Player or Photo Gallery, etc, I get a message saying the selected file has an extension (tdt2) not recognized by Window Media Player. A second message says Windows Media Player cannot play the file; the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec (?) that was used to compress the file. Any ideas? Thanks, -- Beulah |
