| | Installed Vista - LOST SOUND I installed Vista - I lost all sound. Is there something I can do to get my sound back? Or is this normal with Vista? I've lost the abilty to watch any video web feeds as well. In summary, I have Vista...I have lost all multimedia capabilities. So far, regarding my experience with Vista, I am disappointed and disillusioned.. |

Did you check your "device manager" (in control panel) for Yellow marks? Not all device drivers are available on the DVD. You might need to download them from MS or the device manufacturers site. Not all INSTALLED hardware is compatible (in Vista) with OTHER installed hardware. You might need to disable(BIOS) /remove something to get that pesky Yellow(!) gone. |

| | Re: Installed Vista - LOST SOUND I went to the Creative web site...downloaded their Vista driver, and I am back in the sound game. Video is back now too...but am unsure as to why it returned...perhaps Vista found a driver for my video card...??? Pete Also solved last night at 12:15 AM...AutoCAD 2004 installed and running...slowly my system capabilities are coming online...HP DesignJet printer support is woefully lacking...I think color printing in general is in need of development...CutePDF DOES print color PDF files...Acrobat 6.0 DOES NOT...???
