| | Re: Media Center - Performance Horrendous Hi Andre, It uses about 400mb for me! Vista uses about 450mb when it's just logged in and sitting about doing nothing... But then again I haven't modified any settings in order to save on memory etc. It's surprising, I would have though that game architechture would have lead itself excellent to Media Centre, I'm not quite sure how they have gone about designing it but it's slower than any game I've tried lately. Maybe it should be re-written in WinFX, or is that currently in progress? Nick. | | Re: Media Center - Performance Horrendous At the moment, with Windows Aero enabled, the RAM stands at about 450MB thereabouts as well. Without Aero and just the Classic skin, it runs up to about 350MB with most of the non-essential services not running. Gonna have to replace a few computers soon... -- Zack Whittaker » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: www.msblog.org » Vista Knowledge Base: www.vistabase.co.uk » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
