    Sound Quality is very bad.

Before I install Vista (64), I read most of the important questions here and
they helped me a lot.. I installed it and so far so good. But when I open my
Windows Media Player and when I play mp3's quality is really really bad..
Quick cuts during the song and vs. I think the problem is the Sound Driver
but I bought this system ready. So I dont have any drivers or anything. What
    should I do?

    System:
    AMD Turion 64 Mob. Tech.
    1gb ram
    128 grap.

RE: Sound Quality is very bad.

First of all: The company or person who sold the PC to you, should give you
the cd drivers for the pc. If it didn´t, reclaim the cds.

Second: You should find out what sound system your pc uses. Go to Device
    Manager to check it.

If Windows Vista have sound (even low quality), it means that your sound
card has been reconized after all. Check sound configuration at control panel
    > Hardware and Sound > Sound. You can tweak and configure some settings about

    sound there.

If you still have the same problem, check if your sound manufacter released
beta drivers for Windows Vista, download them and install.

RE: Sound Quality is very bad.

In Windows XP, I had SigmaTel Sound Driver, now Vista recognises it as High
Definition Audio Device. I already have found the driver setup on my old
Program Files, but Vista doesnt let me setup. It says Operating System doesnt
support which I have already tried to change the file properties to XP, same
thing happened. I have looked online but SigmaTel doesnt have a special
driver for Vista. I have tried everthing on the Windows to fix it but It
seems like its impossible. I can listen music but it sounds like I am using
32 Ram Computer. It cracks, cuts. Really bad quality.

Is there any way I can get that SigmaTel installed or any other way?
    Thanks

See if you can make the installation without runing the setup program. Go to
Device Manager, righclick the device and choose UPDATE DRIVER, after that
clic the option that says Browse my computer for driver software, and give
the wizard the path to the location of the drivers, for example
D:\Drivers\inf. Check the path of your drivers before. Good luck.
