Media Player in Vista won't load at all.

Hi,

After installation of a codec pack, media player decided to stop working. Of
course, I didn't notice immediately and do not wish to system restore etc. Is
there a way to re-install WMP on Vista RC2 5744?

I've attached the error code below in case anyone is a robot with these
kinda things.

Thanks....

RE: Media Player in Vista won't load at all.

The solution its not in reinstalling WMP, the player doesnt have any problem.
You should remove the codec pack you´ve installed because some codecs are not
compatible with beta versions of Windows Vista.

Re: Media Player in Vista won't load at all.

I did the same thing, had the same problem, and I then removed the codec
pack. I still cannot get media player to work. I can't listen to MP3s either
in media player OR Media Center
