| | Photo gallery database and moving my pictures folder This is a comment on photo gallery. the database (C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Photo Gallery\pictures.pd4) won't update after you change the "My Pictures" folder to another location. Photo gallery will display the thumbnails from its database and will generate errors (picture is read only, or can't be displayed) when you click on it. There seems to be no way from within Photo gallery to update the database to reflect the new path, but only to delete the database "pictures.pd4". |
