| | MediaCenter extender I am using the media center with the xbox360 as extender, this works really great. But I was wondering if it would be possible to use a normal pc as extende, so that I can control my media and stream tv from all my pc's. Maybe a idea for the microsoft guys...... Let me know what you think |

| | RE: MediaCenter extender The ability of using a second PC as an Extender has been frequently asked for, but unfortunately at the moment is not available. It is possible to share your vids/music/pics between HTPC's, however streaming of livetv is not. (Unless you happen to be running Vaio's, in which case you could use Vaio Media to stream livetv/vids/music/pics, but this does not fall under the definition of Extender.) |
