| | wmp11 vista loss library Media Player shows an empty library. It was fine until last week. I keep trying to have it monitor my folder with music but it won't retain any folder name. |

| | Re: wmp11 vista loss library I have the same problem. The library doesn't index my musics. It allows me to add in monitor folder path, but it still doesn't add those musics into my library. It always shows 0 music added. "mohican83" <mohican83@discussions.microsoft.com> 写入消息 news:ACBB3C5F-754C-42B1-BBFD-95A286B97C33@microsoft.com... > Media Player shows an empty library. Close it and choose the apply all media changes command that should work(worked for me) sorry it took so long to figure it out "Tom" wrote: > I have the same problem. | | Re: wmp11 vista loss library As Mohican suggested, by renameing the media player folder sloves the problem. The "no pictures were found" problem is different. This problem is becasue of Nero. | | Re: wmp11 vista loss library It did not work for me. I have my music folders on a network drive, and everything was working fine with Media Player 11 on XP. I clean installed Vista Ultimate and now I can not view or add any folders to be monitored - the library is empty. I have tried several advises exept editing the registry. Pls Microsoft - come up with a solution, I have paid for a product not working! I'll not install Vista on my other systems untill the problem is solved. | | Re: wmp11 vista loss library Problem solved - almost :-) I created a new account and started all over again - and now everything works fine. Obviously the Easy File transfer mixed up something that created problems for Vusta. Lesson learned: Clean Install Vista - but don't use the Easy Transfer to transfer settings from your old computer (even if it is only 1 year old, only had one account and never installed any games).
