I just installed an XFX GeForce 7600GS 256MB PCIe card this evening. Comp is
3.3 Ghz Celeron D with 1.5GB of RAM.Everything went fine until I tried doing
benchmark testing after installation, and got BSOD's. I quickly realized that
the computer crashes every time I tried to use 3D.

D'uh...I hadn't installed a Vista driver; so I went to NVidia and downloaded
the new driver for Vista. The problem? While installing it, I get "The
installation program has detected that you are not running Windows Vista.
This program is intended only for Vista, and will terminate".



The computer I'm using CAME with Vista Home Basic preinstalled. Argh! Any
ideas?
