| | No sound on webpages Hello, I'm currently having some sound issues with my Dell Notebook. There is no longer a start-up sound, nor any alert sounds, the buttons on my keyboard that used to control the volume no longer work, nor does it light up; the volume icon will not appear on my tray, and there is no sound when playing embedded files from webpages. --The "display icon in taskbar" is checked --My volume is not muted. --"Device is working properly" --I have system sounds enabled --I do get sound from CDs, DVDs, and any files that can be played through my media players i also tried My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32 And then on the right pane, right click and click on New, select String value, enter "wavemapper" (without quots of course), press ENTER Then right-click on "wavemapper", select modify, and type "msacm32.drv" and that don't work.. Any ideas....? |
