| | Burning DVDs with Windows DVD Maker I just installed a fresh copy of Windows Vista Premium on my Dell laptop...only had it a few days...didn't upgrade existing XP...installed fresh/clean. I discovered Windows DVD Maker and started playing around with it. It's very basic, but really slick for quick DVD creation. I was excited to try it out. Well, after I added all my video clips, and entered a title, etc., I clicked on the button to Burn the DVD. At that point, I get a message asking me to insert a disc into the D: drive. There was already a blank, recordable DVD in the drive. So, I ejected it and reinserted it...no change. I don't know why the software isn't recognizing the blank disc in the drive. The disc is definitely in there and it is definitely blank. Please advise... |

| | RE: Burning DVDs with Windows DVD Maker Try differnet dvd's, such as DVD+R or -R. You shouldn't have to, but I'd try a new disc or 2. jf "BobRoyAce" wrote: > I just installed a fresh copy of Windows Vista Premium on my Dell > laptop...only had it a few days...didn't upgrade existing XP...installed > fresh/clean.
