| Guest | File Location for Photo Gallery Hi all With Vista I am hoping to use the Photogallery and Media Center tools rather than the miscellaneous software products that came with the devices used in XP.. Photogallery for example seems to point to the following folder. C:\Users\Public\Pictures I have a big problem with keeping any volume data on the C drive and would like to store all my multimedia data in a location of my choice, in the long probably on a NAS device shared across my home network I would be grateful for some advice on how to make the Photogallersy software look elsewhere or relocate the Users/Publlic folders, preferably the latter Roger Stenson |

| Guest | RE: File Location for Photo Gallery You can add ANY location of your files to the gallery. If the drive you adding is external, you may have problems with editing those pictures in the gallery and saving them to the same location (read-only). If you add files from CD or DVD, gallery will ask you to import those pictures to your hard drive and you can select any location on your machine to save those files to. That location will be automatically added to the Gallery. To add files to your gallery (no matter what their location is), click File > Add files to gallery. Then, select the drive where you store your files you want to add.
