Media player continues to play after I close it....

I've experienced this bug on the previous 3 betas as well. Rebooting fixes it
but I should be noted.

Jimmy,

Yup
That pesky WMP11 ghost player bug was nvr fixed.
I just use task manager and kill wmp.exe.

I have the same problem. Its a bit of a pain when you forget to press stop
first but its not the worst problem I have come across.
All I do is open the player again and click on the Stop button then close it.
Or If you have a keyboard with media player controls press stop on the
keyboard. It works for me even though the player is closed.

Hope this helps

Re: Media player continues to play after I close it....

apparently this is a bug that carried over from rc2, "wmp ghost" you can
ctl+alt+del for the task manager and kill wmplayer.exe

also another weird glitch i get for vista wmp11 is:

when i have a video playing that isn't maximized(small window), and i double
click in the screen to go to full screen mode, i get an epileptic seizure
enducing skip flicker effect.

I have the same problem. Is Microsoft working on a fix for this? Does
anyone know?
