| | Mouse disappears in Vista Ultimate (RTM) when Media Center is open When I open the Media Center, the mouse pointer disappears from sight. It acts like it is hidden behind the MCE menu screen, because when I move my mouse around, the menu buttons light up, but that is the only way I can tell where my mouse is. Any suggestions would be appreciated! |

| Vista Ultimate | Re: Mouse disappears in Vista Ultimate (RTM) when Media Center is open I have Windows Vista Ultimate and have no pointer trails or anything elaborate setup for my mouse except for the aero theme. I have a core 2 duo E6600 with 4 gb ram, 8800GTX graphics card and Microsoft's Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000 bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo and every single time I go into Vista's Media Center the mouse cursor disappears yet if I move it around enough certain things will become highlighted. This is a major headache and any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, J |

| | Re: Mouse disappears in Vista Ultimate (RTM) when Media Center is I also turned off shadow along with trails and my pointer showed up. Thanks for the tip. Why isn't this in the knowledge base?
