    Photo gallery high CPU usage

If I have Photo Gallery open (minimized or maximised) it constantly occupies
more that 50% of the CPU even if I just leave it without using it. First I
thought it was just updating thumbnails but it has not changed even after
keeping it open for several hours (I have app 10.000 photos on my PC).

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there any solution?

RE: Photo gallery high CPU usage

I have around 6,000 photos, and WPG usually takes up around 20% cpu time.
It's the dllhost.exe that eats up my cpu when WPG is open; it always uses
    50%+. :-/
