| | Playing Music crashes my PC?! Hi, when I try to play music, it keeps crashing my computer. I have tried WMP, SpiderPlayer and Winamp and nothing helps. I can work normally with my computer and then it suddenly crashes - the music keeps looping at exactly the same second and windows doesnt respond. pressing Ctrl, alt and delete creates a nice black screen. Without playing music in the background i can run vista for hours without a problem. And before ppl start telling me that windows vista is protecting music by stopping pirated music and such - I have downloaded the music legally from www.musicload.de , a german music site powered by T-Online in Germany! I was blamed for pirating whereever i asked for help and I'm not interested in this anymore... all i want is to LISTEN to my LEGAL music ![]() i mean, theres gotta be a reason why i have so much trouble (and btw, it also happens when i repeat one song all the time, and its not that specific song!) |

| | RE: Playing Music crashes my PC?! I should mention, that "blaming" me for downloading might not be the right word... i want to express myself saying that ppl always said i WOULD download illegally, but its not true... dont know if the word "blame" is the right one... accuse maybe? lol, sorry for confusing you. |

| | Re: Playing Music crashes my PC?! so far I have only played a little bit, but when im watching a dvd for example it doesnt crash... ive tested that. i have used a day and watched a few dvds i got... no crash at all (i worked on the computer whlle the picture was visible on one half of the screen)... so its not a general audio error ![]() "Paul Smith" wrote: > Do you get this with audio from other sources like games? > > -- > Paul Smith, > Yeovil, UK. > Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User. > http://www.windowsresource.net/ > > *Remove nospam. to reply by e-mail* > > > "Hicks" <Hicks@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:46B750CB-549A-4CF9-8E4C-B1580DB7E7DA@microsoft.com... > > Hi, > > > > when I try to play music, it keeps crashing my computer.
