| | Media Center unwanted library objects! I have a few questions about MC in Vista x64: *Whenever I open the MC video library my system drive (C and the Vistaexample video files in Documents are there even though I haven't selected them. Is there any way to remove them? I can't find them in the Library options in MC or WMP11, also "Recorded TV" keeps reappearing in WMP11 library. *Is it possible to view the "control bar" as in Windows Media Player? As it is now I can't jump ahead exactly to the point I want when watching video clips. *Is it possible to associate .mkv files to MC/WMP? It would be nice to be able to play all my media files without having to switch between different players. |

| | Re: Media Center unwanted library objects! I saw those the first time I installed Vista. I believe those files are in the MCX1 user profile. That is the profile that Media Center uses. When I setup Media Center for the first time it asked me if I wanted to include files for the MCX user. I said no. I am not sure how you can change these settings in your Library setup but I just thought I would let you know where the files were coming from.
