| | Burning a recorded TV show to a video DVD OK I've got the 64-bit version of Vista installed on a small Dell Dimension E510 (3.0Ghz, 1gig ram, 160gig HD, Hauupage 150 card,etc..) everthing appears to be fine. I went through the Media Center setup with no problems, and it records shows just fine. My issue is went I go to burn a recorded TV show to a DVD selecting the Video DVD option. at that point the system doesn't get past the screen where I select Video format rather than Data format. media Center just locks up right there and never progresses to the next screen where you normally enter in the Title, then contnue to the burn phase. yes I do have a blank DVD disk in the drive. Should Media Center be able to burn the DVD on it's own, or do I need to install a third party program such as Nero in order to be able to burn the DVD's.? |
