Vista & IE7 & You Tube

I log on to You Tube to view video, You Tube tells me I need Flash Player. I
go to Adobe web site and download latest flash player. It tells me download
and install was successful. I still can't view videos on You Tube. Anyone
have a clue? Is there somthing in browser settings that I need to Change?

Re: Vista & IE7 & You Tube

only idea i suddenly i can come to is a reboot, ewen though i dont
see how it solves anything..
since you tube runs fine with the flash here..

Except the flash item i installed i didnt goto the adobe site,
it auto installed itself. somehow.. ;(

perhaps if u uninstall the flash utility and retry ?

Re: Vista & IE7 & You Tube

It's FlashUtil9b.exe and it fixed the same problem I had on my old laptop
with XP. For some reason flash never really installed even though it said
it did no matter how many times I uninstalled it and then
re-downloaded/re-installed it.

Thanks to whomever suggested this option.

Cheers, Dave

Re: Vista & IE7 & You Tube

Which flash did you install?
Vista needs Flash 6.
