| | Re: Green photos Everything is green, not just the photos. (1) Check for a loose connection between your system unit and your monitor. If you are using analog (VGA-type) connectors, a poor connection can cause a color shift. (2) Check for an adjustment on your monitor. If it's an LCD, and maybe even if it isn't, it probably has some color balance adjustments. If in doubt, put everything in the middle of the range. (3) Adjust your video driver. Right-click on a blank area of the desktop, go to Personalize, and hunt around for "Advanced" settings or anything with your video driver's trademark on it. Eventually you'll probably find a way to adjust curves and color balance. When you do, this chart will be useful: http://www.dslrbook.com/cal |

It's also not a lcd,balance... problem as the green stuff shows only on windows photo gallery - everything beside that looks ok (desktop, other programs) examine the photo closely. As I wrote at the beginning - some most photo programs show ok, others (wpg, photoshop) show green pictures (only wpg looks all greenish) |

| | Re: Green photos Sorry if you have already tried this, coming in late to this thread. Have you tried settings in 'color management' (control panel, hardware & sound, color management) Some programs use the color profiles some don't For your display device you may have an invalid profile, I suggest you note what you have as profiles and delete them (without a profile it will default to a pretty good set of colors that should be consistent among your various display programs). (If you do a system save before deleting them I think they will come back with a restore).
