Missing Codec

I have tried many times to place a song I purchased from itunes onto a slide
show of photos I am making in Windows photo gallery, but I keep getting an
error signal about a missing codec. I have read all the threads that warn
about downloading codecs indiscriminately. Can anyone tell me what I have to
do?

RE: Missing Codec

I guess I am getting somewhere. I downloaded that package and the error
message no longer says I am missing a codec; it says it can't be imported?

Re: Missing Codec

A purchased file from iTunes probably could not be played back by non-iTunes
software, to the best of my knowledge.
