How do you view gif. files

I have a lot of animations that displayed in XP but have not been been abke
to view them in Vista Home Premium. If anyone has the answer can you
possibly share it here. Thank You!

Open them in either Internet Explorer or a 3rd party program that has
animated gif support.

GIFs are not supported by Windows Photo Gallery.
Windows Explorer will show them in the preview, but not animated.

Irfanview will show the animation.
